Signature Floor Coat is a thin film trowel on cement coating ideal for domestic and light commercial venues. A two-coat application with a total film thickness of 1.6 – 1.8mm can be applied onto various surfaces, including new screeds, or directly over tiles with the correct preparation.
Signature Floor Coat & Binder
Signature Floor Coat is ideally applied onto a well-cured (28 days) cement or concrete substrate. Toppings should be integrally sound, have good compressive strength (25MPa – 30 MPa) and be free from cracking, crumbling or scuffing. All toppings should comply with NHBRC regulatory standards and have less than 5% moisture content. Ideally, expansion joints should be allowed every 3 to 4 meters and should be placed in a manner that corresponds with the base concrete joints.
Due to the Signature Floor Coat being a thin film coating, the product should be applied to an even surface. It will not rectify valleys and ridges but will simply follow the existing floor or wall level.
