Easy Floor is a thin film trowel on cement coating that is ideal for domestic and light commercial venues. A two-coat application with a total film thickness of 1.4 – 1.8 mm and can be applied over various surfaces, including new screeds, or directly over tiles with the correct preparation. Easy Floor leaves you with a beautiful, marbled effect caused by the burning effect of the coating.
Easy Floor & Binder
Easy Floor is ideally applied onto a well-cured (28 days) cement or concrete substrate. Toppings should be integrally sound, have good compressive strength (25 – 30 MPa), and be free from cracking, crumbling or scuffing. All toppings should comply with NHBRC regulatory standards and have less than 5% moisture content. Ideally, expansion joints should be allowed every 3 to 4 metres and placed in a manner that corresponds with the base concrete joints.
Due to Easy Floor being a thin film coating, the product should be applied to an even surface. It will not rectify valleys and ridges but will simply follow the existing floor level.
